Which house? I was leading them away one at a time trying to find a good spot but they wouldn't come down the stairs near the bonfire thing. I ended up just running around the fountain but just getting frustrated having to go through all those mobs again and again for now :p
Ahk you're coming from that direction, so if you just sprint past the wolves, just after them there's a guy on the left standing at the top of a narrow flight of stairs, just book it down the stairs and that's where I was talking about.... There's a shortcut pretty close to there too if you explore around which will make it so you don't have to go through those mobs constantly and will make things a lot easier.

I don't want to give too much away since discovery is a lot of the fun but there's also a hidden path you probably havn't found behind some boxes that leads to that short cut too from a different direction that you've probably walked past a bunch on the path you are taking that's kinda easy to miss.

The chalice dungeons are def a bit of a slog but I left them as my last trophy to get the plat and it was nice to beat some unique bosses as a bit of a victory lap before getting the platinum.
The defiled chalice is brutal.

Watchdog of the old Lords is smashing me.

I'm not sure what weapon you're using (I used the moonlight holy sword because of it's non transformed R2 thrust) but I found staying in front of him and baiting it's bite attack (which was why I really liked the thrust attack) so I could get a hit in and sort of get in a rhythm, it has armour on it's head that'll eventually break and you can start doing pretty good damage on it, there's obviously other stuff to watch out for like it's charge (which will happen much less if you can control the space in front and bait his easy to dodge bite) and a fire thing that it'll do in it's last 3rd that you have to back away from but that to me was easier then constantly trying to move where you'd get caught off guard or going for it's legs.

Keen to help me with him and also lower Loran abhorrent beast? Haha. There's not even a summon for him! Took me long enough to beat him in ailing Loran (I think), now he's back ****ing stronger.

On one hand, it's a reversion of Bloodborne to a ps1 era level of play; I never had a PS1-2, so I'm not nostalgic for the textures. On the other hand, it's on PC, and if anyone else is might be worth a look.
