Not a blumour or anything but I have heard a couple times now that next year’s 2020 draft is currently viewed by recruiters as s**thouse. Something to keep in mind when discussing value of future picks.

Next year's picks would be valuable to a team like Sydney who could use them for matching bids.

Any idea of which players we could target from Sydney in this trade period?

:p

Damian Barrett suggesting we shouldn't get Betts

First time I've ever been quoted but barass, and in the bluemour file no less! Looks like Mike Sheahan is spot on. Wait... is barass Mike?

I feel I've said too much. Stand by and keep a safe distance. This message will self-destruct in 5.
This post was a joke, but my Bluemour file post has since been deleted. This one's next.

Goodbye cruel world.

IIRC, insofar CFC’s youth strategy and related talent was concerned, Damo has previously said that he “just didn’t see it.” Well, it seems his vision has since improved; at least enough to jolt him into writing a sentence warning against diverting from that strategy. In the game pmsl.

Please summarise the last 15 to 20 pages it looks like I missed

You didn't miss anything.

Someone said something that was misinterpreted as being un-PC
It then triggered 15-20 pages of PC vs anti-PC vs anti-anti-PC vs anti-anti-anti-PC drivel
There were more high horses than a Clydesdale breeding farm

#ModernDayInternet

Although, I would suggest Longmuir would be the frontrunner at Freo, they would be mad not to appointment him

Maybe Longmuir might decide we're a more attractive destination, even as an assistant.

Typically only get 1 chance at being a head coach...rare to get a second chance.
A fair bit of upheaval at Freo, they are still without a CEO and are about to lose B Hill & Langdon...not the most stable environment.

We are clearly on the rise and seem to be fostering a positive environment for coaches since we invest in our people...we may also be offering a pay rise and a more 'senior assistant' type position to entice him away from Collingwood, where i think Sanderson would be the 'right hand man'.

He also wouldn't have to move if he joined us instead of Freo, in the event he's settled in VIC.

Add Blakely to that list of departures as well.
Has asked to look at a return to Victoria despite signing a 3 year deal this year.

Thanks mate, cool, saving me from sifting through a dozen pages or so.
You are a rare gem. :thumbsu: :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

He's one I'd target for sure, but concerned how much they'd ask for him.
Would be interesting.
I think his value would be down a bit after this year's injury. Also not sure re the formline but how much of that is due to the obviously toxic Freo environment?
Speculation dragged out about Hill and Lyon, the CEO eventually went, Neale went last year......
Kersten retired mid year after a shit fight re the handling of injuries, Bennel also stated that the club's medical department was a shambles and all backed up by a player manager that handles nearly half the list.
Doesn't sound like the sort of place where people can play their best footy.
I'd be making inquiries on as many Freo players as possible.
Also doesn't sound like the ideal first senior coaching role.
