Implication is that it's essentially a verbal agreement and done deal...eg 'yes i will join Carlton at these contract terms'. Once you do that, you shouldn't then turn around and ask for more money. If the situation was still changing he shouldn't have made a handshake agreement.

Luko is growing in stature with each successive post! He has elite talent but I don't recall him ever being profiled as the 'leader of men' type you're making him out to be.
