If Cripps wanted to leave, the club would find something that works.

If Oliver wants out of Melbourne.... Melbourne will find something to make it work.

We, on the forum, would have little idea of what is going on and can't say definitively if someone is not gettable... It might be unpalatable to consider trading Cripps.. Or Charlie.. But it is not an impossible thing to have happen... Just highly unlikely.

You have to be kidding.

Lukosius is the best kick in the AFL, in his first season, as a KPP player who is considered to be capable of playing every single role onfield, with leadership potential. If they traded him - even for massive overs - they would be working completely and utterly against their own interests in building a club almost from scratch.

I enjoy your posts, BCFC, but every now and then you say something utterly ridiculous. This is one of those times.

FWIW - I don’t get this “Eddie will add thousands of memberships” story.

I don’t personally know a single Carlton supporter who will be more likely to attend a game or buy a Membership if Eddie is on our list next year.

I have friends who have said they will now return as members. Very excited.
