So in relation to the latest post on the no discussion thread about the 7 years and ladder thing if I'm reading correctly which is probably unlikely is it hinting that they wear the number 7 jumper? Fyfe is number 7 and that's not happening, but coincidentally so is another player already talked about and rumoured on here, Jack Viney I could be way off though

My feelings on Viney would purely depend on how much we give up for him.

Here's all that matters - The CFC aren't in love with drafts 2019 + 2020.
Putting the right pieces in place does matter and then we can see how that goes and top-up the following year.

The other thing is that there isn't one 'single' player that SOS would be looking at with future picks.
This makes sense and the recruiting department would be shaking plenty of tress to see what may yet fall out.

We changed tack on Ellis and we can change tack again, should favoured conditions eventuate.

Viney was probably mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Arrow's criteria would have been before that.

I like this multiple options approach rather pinning our hopes on one big recruit. Puts some onus back on other clubs/players to be sensible about trading and not make ridiculous demands eg. Ellis.
