But they can’t jump ahead of the green pick and draft green if they give up pick 12,18 and 2020 first pick can they?
Do the crows know if they are coming or going? They gave up a pick 18 last year in a top draft to get high in this one now they want to trade back down?

Surely something goes back GWS way but even if it doesn't Adelaide have traded pick 9 for 12 + 15-19 next year and given up a pick 18 in a good draft for a bad one.

any rumours? so much silliness - someone needs to de-derail back to gaff to carlton, done deal..........

Agree. People have lost their minds, we need a collective sedative.

Personally I wouldn’t mind another 8 page marathon dissection of Caldwell to calm us all down. That was easily the most boring and pointless conversation I’ve read on bigfooty and would settle the board quite nicely.

Stocker yes. Most of the others are too small. We are betting the house on Kennedy, Setters and Silvagni becoming mids. You need 8 good ones to win a flag and we are well short that

It depends what you classify as ‘good’.

And the number isn’t 8, the game has changed. You only play 7, 2 of whom are genuine wings.

The secrecy and constant description of a 'big fish' and 'something big brewing' from numerous ITK posters suggests a gun player of a high calibre...a bigger shock factor may be because he's seen as a club leader, plays for a current contender or plays for a traditional rival like Essendon or Collingwood.

Some that i think fit the bill and could be gettable (yet also a shock), assuming it's a midfielder:

Sloane - just had baby
Parker - long-time Sydney servant
Taranto - bona fide young gun and the perfect type of player for our midfield
Mcluggage - rumour a while back that he may want to return to VIC...became elite this year and certainly would be a surprise to leave a contender
Swallow - GC captain
Treloar - traditional rival...would be huge news
Macrae - can dream
Merrett - imagine the Essendon tears!
Oliver - Melbourne would go into meltdown

I don't think the likes of Fyfe, Yeo & the Bont etc are even remotely gettable...but i could be wrong.

They are overrating their list. Topped up on mature age recruits last year, and targeting mature players again, yet there are huge holes in their youth

Smells like North from a few years ago
It also smells a bit like us early this decade with their current coach at the helm.

I'm very comfortable with how we are tracking, we have nothing to fear from the likes of St.Kilda.

That would be disappointing as he's not worth this kind of secret hype.

I honestly think the only one that is is Parker and MAYBE Oliver

As and Adelaide born and bred man. I'm not sure I'd be over the moon with camporeale.

I especially wouldn't believe it if it was for the NB job considering in the last 12 months 6 sanfl job openings, one of which was the Crow reserves.

So if he was going for a VFL job, I'd be very surprised.

To move back to Vic, for a state league job, doesn't add up, unless he has been pushed out due to bad reviews in the whole club review. Which ironically is the opinion amongst crow fans for a number of years.

The NB's coach with an assistant role for the AFL team isn't beyond the realms of possibilities. Such arrangements work quite well in the NRL with Q Cup or NSW Cup coaches holding dual assistant roles with NRL teams as well.

8? How many did WC and the Tigers have in the last 2 years?
