I get the idea of what we're up to, but somehow I'm not fussed should we not have the 2019 #9 and next years second after this period.

If the #9 and next years second net Papley and Martin respectively, I'd be OK with it.
Any result better than that is good, but the thrust of what we're doing is with these two guys and leave ourselves open to something 'special' late in the period.

All I care about is holding over that 2020 1st and to take it to good use. All the other stuff is just somewhat fluff to me.

EDIT: For what it's worth the 'disappointment' in this week will be made up for the fun of the next.
We now have two List Managers to get things done. We are multi-pronged.

I’m aware this won’t be popular but I don’t understand the hate for Dodoro.
His only agenda is getting the best deal for Essendon. I dislike essendon as much as the next sane human but for me he is just doing his job.
If in a hypothetical world it was not Daniher wanting to leave but Charlie Curnow, we would all want SOS to play the hardest of hard ball to make sure that we only let him go for a massive price.
I’m happy to keep being patient and confident that the ducks are all lined up on our end. Hopefully it all falls into place by Wednesday
