We are a destination club.

I don't need any more convincing, players know what we've built and they want to play for us.

No that would be the Saints.

If you need any more proof, check their Board 'Destination Club' thread :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

Wines was never fit this year due to his injury mishap in the off-season.

He's a very good player and would be fantastic for us. He's not perfect, he's not a "superstar", but he's everything and more we hoped, say, Matt Kennedy would be. Would play a key role in leading the young midfield for several years, then become an important part of the rotation in a reduced role over time - all going well.

Viney would also do the same. Interesting coincidence that they're good mates, both co-captains, similar players, similar age, similar skillsets, and both have been suggested as gettable. Either one would be a great addition to the Blues IMO.

I see him as our Prestia-like pick up.

Although i don't think we'll get him, and i hope the likes of Kennedy/Stocker can step up as that extra bigger body in the middle in 2020.

I can't be the only one who would prefer Robbie Gray over Wines (if those rumours of him also wanting out is true?)

He is a bona fide superstar that lad, he is one player I would pony up our 2020 1st round pick (plus more) for. Would certainly start the gofundme campaign for a SOS statue outside IKON Park if it happened.

Perhaps compare age and injury history
