He’d know there’s game time definitely available as Kruez can’t stay fit for a whole season and Phillips is all but gone.

And a 2 year deal instead of 1 from the hawks.

More opportunity in seniors, longer contract (and maybe more $$$) plus join a team on the rise.

No brainer really but a good pick up from SOS nonetheless.

I can't be the only one who would prefer Robbie Gray over Wines (if those rumours of him also wanting out is true?)

He is a bona fide superstar that lad, he is one player I would pony up our 2020 1st round pick (plus more) for. Would certainly start the gofundme campaign for a SOS statue outside IKON Park if it happened.

He'll be 32 next year!

No because he's 31 and we're getting a 23 year old like for like tomorrow

Interesting post on Port board - the wheel has turned.

“How does it look on this club that Carlton had our captain actually approaching them for a trade and they then went, - nah we're good mate”

I wonder if at 7:25 on Wednesday night, SOS calls PA and says "Next year's first and we'll take Ollie off your hands. But you gotta throw something else back our way. Just for show, you get it."

Agree.

Need some serious run and dash over someone like Ollie. Wasn’t he almost dropped this year?

Ollie struggled with injuries this year but imo is still a very good player.
I reckon he'd be similar to a Prestia-like pick up and he's done wonders for Richmond.

Russell would slim him down a bit which would help his running.

Would be a great pick up imo.

He really wouldn't have left if he was willing to do that. Eddie leaving was about maximising his earnings and setting himself up for the future, good luck to him for having done so.

Eddie coming back is about GC being his only other option and that didn't suit as the family wanted to come back to Victoria.

Like I've said before I will support him 100% when he becomes a Carlton player again but I will be far more excited about signing up Papley if that happens.
Google before replying. Was offered 200k more a year, said he would stay for an extra 50k, we refused, he went to Adelaide and went from a very very good small forward to one of the greatest of all time.
