Just like to thank Aphrodite and the other Carlton mods who started the Bluemours NON Discussion Thread and who have kept it free of chat over the past few years.

It helps so much when you just don't have the time to read through this thread, cheers and great job.

Anyone know if LordLucifer ever got decent mail in the past?.

It's also embedded in the post itself - 'not sure how strong this one is'. Beyond him not playing ones, is there much else to suggest this from either the club or from Paddy himself?

Seems he lives in the Northern Beaches in Sydney and, as I do as well and haven't heard it, probably best to not place a lot in it.

Wasn't he previously The Sheik?

Don't remember him being as good as the itk posters, seemed to be able to draw conclusions from unrelated information, hoping this is more of the same.

Questionable!

IIRC, yes.

I have a memory of him insisting he had a connection at some point, but nothing ever came of it.

Ideally a pick between 10 - 20 for Paddy would be ideal, or we could ship him off to The Swans as part of the Papley trade, amusing this rumour turns out to be true.

If it were true he wouldn't be part of the Papley trade, he would be the Papley trade, in fact I'd want something back.

I really, really rate Dow.

Don't disagree, Dow much more important to us over the next few years. Not sure the Swans will agree though

That may be so, his currency is not exactly at an premium though.

Would prefer to retain Dow myself though.

You think Sydney are going to trade a top 3 best small forward in the league for a player who can’t even get a game for us?

Dow is our man.....”no trade for you”

Or alternatively play him and see what his true value is. Suspect 1) Given a run of games he will be worth a lot more than that and 2) It's unlikely that he will be looking to go elsewhere - particularly if given a good run of games.

Funny guy, the Sheik. Spent years (correctly) calling for a full list rebuild before it was cool.

Odd decision from Dow if that rumour is true. Either very short sighted or not enough confidence in himself.

Been given plenty of games in his first 2 years, and been injured most of this year.

Murphy and Ed need replacing soon. If Dow is the midfielder we drafted him to be, he should be primed to take over a midfield spot next year or so.
