Yes granted.. But the big thing is the actual whole team and how its run and where they are going... Build a good structure, add good people, then up and coming young team with good vibe, just like any good company, it attracts other good people who want to be involved...

Exactly SCB
My point has always been for us to go forward is to plug the gaps and development...development....and then some more proper development.

The CFC were clear what they needed and all being well, we should now nail two out of three 'legitimate' targets.

One more to go and no one here is going to be unhappy. Take into account the fact that players are wanting to come to us, is a huge fillip to anyone else that may just be sitting on the fence for now. Very clever work by the CFC to date.

Its a bit late and a bit precious for Rohan Connolly and the like to be calling the club a carcrash. The rest of us knew it the day the lid blew off and if their supporters had been angry then at what their club had done to the game and to its own supporters, they might be in a better state now. It was always going to catch up with them at some point. And it will probably take them as long as its taken us to get serious about restoration and reparation.

Saad is a gun player. His defensive skills are underrated as well.

In terms of pure value as a player, he is worth pick 7, but I doubt we will give them that considering he is not contracted.

It's very difficult to justify a trade value of pick 7 for a HBF with 3-4 good years of football left in him.

To be filari to Rohan. He has had this view of the club for a while now

Will be very interesting how negotiations go and will more than likely go down to the wire.

lets see how young Austin goes against Dodoro. Hopefully he doesn’t perform how Reid did against Sos.

We most certainly will have to trade Pick 7 for 2 mid 1sts as can’t see our 2nd cutting it.

You sound like young Reid there....second should do it or Kennedy and a third

The biggest take away from the reaction of * supporters is how much they rate Saad. None are taking the “he’s no good, have him” road.

All genuinely crushed.
You'll know if you watch Essendon week in and week out. You may not realise it now, but you'll realise why when you're 4 points down with 2 minutes to go.

He gives 100% from start to finish and holds the whole backline together every single week he plays. He's a great pick up.

Can someone explain to me how the * have any leverage once an out of contract players has told their club they want to leave and have nominated the club they want to go to? I’d there anyway the * can f* this for us?
