My point has always been for us to go forward is to plug the gaps and development...development....and then some more proper development.

The CFC were clear what they needed and all being well, we should now nail two out of three 'legitimate' targets.

The rest of us knew it the day the lid blew off and if their supporters had been angry then at what their club had done to the game and to its own supporters, they might be in a better state now. In terms of pure value as a player, he is worth pick 7, but I doubt we will give them that considering he is not contracted.

It's very difficult to justify a trade value of pick 7 for a HBF with 3-4 good years of football left in him.

The biggest take away from the reaction of * supporters is how much they rate Saad. None are taking the “he’s no good, have him” road.

All genuinely crushed.
