same, same, would we consider Daniel Southern then.All I have seen is 'would we consider Ayers' and not an actual rumour that we are looking at Ayres.

Neil Mitchell reporting on 3AW Teague is gone.
Good, imbecile (Mitchell).Carlton has just asked Mitchell to retract that comment.

...meaning they haven't yet told Teague I expect
Good, imbecile (Mitchell).
I suspect now Teague will be retained.... just get the feeling we will try to "back the coach"... plus our penny pinching board and CEO wouldn't want to throw away a good 200K 6month payout
I don't see either, but something in my bones...With all due respect JJ I can't possibly see how Teague can be retained now. The planets are aligning in that the performance is poor and at the same time there is a relative smorgasbord of experienced (and good) coaches available for 2022.
As Clarko's journey with Hawthorn comes to an end in 2 weeks, and with the Hawks pulling off a couple of weeks since the "end" announcement, may have just lit that fire in his belly more-so to reconsider taking a hiatus. I still think with GC and GWS vulnerable to a possible coach change at the end of 2022 being the AFL's agenda, but Clarko doesn't want to move from VIC from reports. If it is Clarko we won't know till 2 weeks after seasons end;
1. We'll have to release Teague
2. Pretend we've done due diligence on his replacement by performing a super quick hiring process on all candidates, will possibly attempt to interview 4-5 who have no hope (like what happened with Teague, Voss pulled out because it was well known Teague would be picked).
if he is replaced as senior coach he needs to go, its untenable for the new coach and Teague to have such a situation and would be a soft decision by the club. This is what we had when Barker stuck around after being caretaker coach, look at how that worked out for us!It might seem like a dumb question, but does Teague need to be sacked/released? Could you say to him Clarke is coming and will be in charge, it’s up to you, if you stay?
Unlikely, but would that remove, having to pay him out?
Not sure on laws, but it'd be deemed a demotion and I think he'd have the right to walk with full payout.It might seem like a dumb question, but does Teague need to be sacked/released? Could you say to him Clarke is coming and will be in charge, it’s up to you, if you stay?

And if Liddle has gifted his underqualified mate Lloyd such an important job, and leading to such disastrous results on field, then he must be shown the door too. No ifs no buts. Leave
Think the story is that the players have been told, which may be false as of now.
