I think it's very much a case of us driving up his price, in the event that it's not...
What does a trade look like?
What are they asking for?
My guess is the other split pick we do with geelong.
One to pies, one to *

Wow u reckon a mid-late first round pick would get JDG!?!??!? LOL!

Let's be honest, a forward line containg Jack Martin, Charlie Curnow, McKay and De Goey would be extremely dangerous for the next 6-7 years.

It would be but we have to understand that it's ever so much more likely that DeGoeys father (manager) is more likely just making it seem that there are plenty of keen suitors for him.

All up, I don't care for DeGoey, Dunkley nor Hunter and probably more-so because they won't happen but I guess we need something to talk about.

All posturing aside, saad will be traded for a reasonable price.

Will it be what people on big footy want? It's guaranteed not to be.

However getting saad is about improving our list not winning a trade ffs...

It’s not about a reasonable price, it’s about the fact that we can get Saad in the ND for a teen pick.

Essendon and Dodoro are to blame for putting themselves in the position they are in, we are under no obligation to help them out, in fact it would be negligent towards our club to pay anything more than the minimum we are required to pay.

Bulldogs have a lot at stake around JUH and will need to position themselves for it.
I just didn't think they'd want to lose Dunkley. He's a bit different to someone like Hunter he they could afford to part with.

I've asked the question. I don't think he's better then dusty Martin good as some have suggested. But an injury-prone player with a bad history off field and pies are up to their eye balls in cap space...

I wouldn't offer what we would offer Oliver.

Edit: I rate JDG and think he instantly makes us more dangerous.

all the talk about bailey smith being an angel not touching a drop of alcohol pre draft, then magically 2 years into the afl system and he's racking lines off of some strippers ass? nah dont believe a word of it
It was an open secret that the story of him not drinking or partying before he was drafted was complete BS.

The dogs are notorious for “parties” of this nature. The strippers I find hard to believe and I’d be very surprised if players had been asked to leave the club. But something definitely happened up there.

It all gets a bit too “drama based” for me, but there was an instagram video of Jack Higgins’ gf blowing up at the dogs for partying while the cats and tigers blokes were preparing for finals.

There’s truth and BS in every rumour, it’s up to us to figure out what’s what

It’s pretty simple really JDG is a match winner ... if the club is convinced he isn’t guilty of what he’s been charged with ... then by all means ... otherwise then obviously no ...

His court proceeding is on October 30, right as trade period starts to heat up.

Wonder how long it takes to get an outcome from such cases?

Innocent until proven guilty is a very, very important principle in court. It is not relevant to a football club that is running a long campaign about respecting women, that would have to give up 2 first round picks for an accused abuser.

Bingo, esp when you consider the disgusting off field behaviour and abuse of women and spouses of a few past players at our club in the past 15 years or So, I would be bitterly disappointed if we traded for De Goey.

Also I am pretty sure more than half of our members are women, what kind of message does this send to them if we recruited De Goey ?

Also as I said previously, JDG has a history of alcohol and driving offences, We have come too far as a football club and changing our culture and standards for player decorum to recruit a D/H like Jordan De Goey to our club.

robbo and the other clown on afl360 the other night saying pick 7 is a fair trade for saad. i dont agree. a late first or early second is what i think he is worth. i hope we dont pay overs in picks and $.
I reckon the trade will be a pick in the teens plus JSOS.
