Irrelevant IMO. A win by 1 point or 100 points only banks 4 competition points. A loss by 2 goals or 12 goals is still a loss worth 0 competition points.

Ok. Were we closer to The finals this year in 2020, or were we closer in 2018?

As a percentage the strength of our ITK’s rumours!

how many rumours have the called?
how many have they got right?
how much do the Bluemour Melting Pot community trust each ITK and their rumours?
Very interesting topic. went i thought it was worthy of the below research

19 Tram FFS!

Only thing i can think of is a 198+ KPD but if we do rise i guess we could try and poach which isnt guaranteed.
With the possibility that we don’t have a first rounder this year by trading in players for it, i would have liked Cox 200cm or Reid 202cm KPD’s this year if we had the chance it’s an important area we need depth in.. Possibly Sam DeKoning 202cm KPD on the cats list might be worth asking about next year after his second year, two years of development already under his belt, kids got a heap of talent...

Our Pick 7 & 1st rounder 2021 should land a gun, next year‘s 1st is valuable in a strong draft.
I’d add one of our young underperforming players if required.
Give up an attractive carrot, for a quality AA midfielder, mature , athletic , good footy IQ and importantly precision kicking.
Mystery gun together with Williams & Saad will rapidly propel our momentum upwards. I’d expect finals appearances in 2021.

Ben McKay. Harry's twin. North. OoC 2021.

I think I'll just post his name every 10 or so pages.

Liddle said the club would consider a hybrid midfielder. Rayner and Ainsworth are that type.

Something tells me Rayner could be used as a bargaining chip to get Daniher across the line. He's not showing why he was taken pick #1 and may want to get back to Victoria. If that's the case, I'd be keen to get involved in that deal and get Rayner to Carlton, Daniher to Brisbane and picks to Essendon.

This would be a nice looking forward line:

Rayner Charlie Martin
Fisher Harry Cuningham + SPS rotating across half forward/midfield
Rayner is a gun in the making.

Although if you only win by small margins and lose by big ones you could miss the top 4 and an extra chance by percentage. So yes it does matter.

This year has been a ride off for him in terms of his development, missed months after the Rd1 game because of the knee injury then was loaded up and played a few of the scratch matches which are really longer versions of club training, then after a comeback game the club/Russell stated hat he’s knee hadn’t responded well and decided that pulling the pin was best thing for him...
I know he has some areas of improvement his endurance will eventually improve his all round game, his lack of chasing tackling and pressure at times is non excusable extremely disappointing but I’m extremely confident that we will start to see the kid that displayed some exciting moments of his talents in his first two years take his game to another level towards the dangerous and exciting player he will be...
I’ll be at the front of the line for the response of ‘i told you so’ to all..👍

Recruiters look for that something special in the way a player moves, he had it in spades. Wouldn't surprise if he ended up being better than half to three quarters of the players taken before him in the draft. Not saying he is as good as but very similar to Fyfe in his draft year, only a handful of possessions with two or three acts of brilliance he could be anything.

Ben McKay....they’re getting rid of everyone else !!!!

Jesus Christ dude, make up your mind. A few post ago you said you didnt care about Wines.

I'm not completely against considering Wines in 12 months time if that's in fact what we need after further consideration to our list.

I don't want to trade for him this year.

I want us to back Dow, Stocker and Kemp in.

I don't care about Wines.

Saad and Williams will improve us in a big way because they give us something we're lacking.

The smart money says wait 12 months and see how our team progresses, then throw our chips at someone we genuinely need as opposed to just guessing.
The kids are still going to be backed in Eiffel, they are the ones through development and hard work that will essentially have themselves in a position for game time at the required level..
Bringing in better players will not only improve our team but set and teach higher standards for the kids, show them the way by example particularly on game day but also on the training track... Raises the bar for all...
