How good is free agency.... The best players always go to the best teams. Lucky we are getting Zac Williams and the filth still have an unco giraffe as their full forward.

Imagine how Cogs, Kelly and Whitfield feel right now. Sinking ship with a coach who is taking them nowhere.

Also hopefully Cameron going to the Cats lessens their desire to go hard for Charlie Curnow.

Maybe Gil and co shouldn't have stepped in last year in regards to Coniglio.
GWS don't have issues with midfielders, other than they can't play them all.

Cameron hasn't been great this year, but he's still their marquee player. Oh well......there's always priority picks the AFL can sling their way.

Both played games this year (as questionable as Moore's selection was). Don't think BSOS was anywhere near to getting a call up, nor would he likely have been in 2021.

Why would anyone actually be pining over BSilvagni?
He showed nothing, cared little and was ousted as he should have been.
If we feel he has any chance at all, we can rookie him.....but that won't happen.

I was responding to the call about not keeping players based on potential. Surely, we aren't holding on to those guys based on exposed form?

And I'm stating that they were at least deemed good enough to plug a gap in the side when required, which BSOS isn't given he's a developing player. I doubt either of them will be kept regardless.

Just thinking of North’s and *’s plight at the moment and our own .... one thing I hope our recruiters and list manager keep in mind is that say in the case of Dunkley if both ourselves and * are chasing him .... DONT GET SUCKED INTO A BIDDING WAR!
I hope they are smart enough to say to any potential candidate .... this is our offer, it’s fair for your talent and if you want to go to a shithole of a club that will not be playing finals for the rest of your career but are offering more for your services ..... there’s the door you ******* merc and we don’t want you soiling the fabric of this club.

We are finally, FINALLY in a position of a destination club ... let’s not make the mistake of * and take a Shiel at way overs, or even the Filth who paid Grundy a million a year for 7 years!

Learn the lessons of these clubs and how screwed they are whilst casting an eye on Geelong ... and of course the Dawks premiership dynasty.

It is nigh on impossible to keep a quality list together without everyone buying in and going for glory at the expense of a few piddly dollars.

Need buy in not mercs pure and simple.
SOS led the way in not overbidding. Carlton don't have 3 picks in this draft to trade for players if SoS had bent over on Martin and Papley

1. You posit a 'true' meaning of what developing means
2. You then go one to make assumptions about 'work ethic' 'psychology' and relative measures you would have no inside knowledge about - referencing other players in other positions
3. You then repeat your own speculations as fact to conclude

To me it is just another Silvagni - exited. One more to go.
Agree with all except the last sentence.

to me it’s another KPP exited after not showing enough to be retained- regardless of surname
