As per the Bluemour File OP, this is a thread for discussing Carlton related rumours.
http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/bluemour-file.1085141/

Rumour posters should post their rumours in both threads for those that like just to read rumours and for those that like to have get lost in their rumour files.

Remember ... #Bluemour

How come when a player nominates another team, the destination club seems to hold the upper hand and pay unders - whilst when a player nominates us, we're held to ransom? I hope the club works out what it is doing wrong in these plays.

Another little nugget from an ITK from another forum - Re: Jed Anderson

Usual disclaimer: I can't name the poster or the forum.

Honestly haven't seen much of Jed, but would be his 3rd club. Doesn't usually bode well (Saad is obviously in a different boat because he's a known quantity).

Anderson thrived this year with no Cunnington and Ziebell in the side, playing as a tagger/grunt midfielder. Certainly his best year at the level. He really can find the ball in tough contested space.

He's combative and hits hard, so in that regard his presence would be welcome. He's not exactly silky, but at the right price he'd provide instant physical support in the midfield and would be the heir to Ed's role.

Why is everyone losing their sh*t over what SEN is "reporting"?

A week ago, SEN were reporting that it was going to have be to Pick 8 and change.

And one of our ITK said the * would get pick 8 with "change" coming back

Pick 48 is nothing more than "change"

I don't see this as a smart deal, no matter what pick 48 delivers in the way of other trades

Not totally opposed to Anderson. But he is only 3 and a half years younger than Ed.

I think Eds got the tank and durability to go a few more years no problem at all.

Anderson would be an okay get, but would deprive someone like stocker of opportunity.

Wait a second. St Kilda can fit everyone under the sun in their cap but we have no cap space once we land Saad?

I don’t believe that for a second. Lloyd is talking out of his ass as is the rest of the media creating that narrative. Doesn’t make sense or add up.

Mind boggling paying pick 8 for saad.

Dodoros list management style has created this market. We should walk away

Exactly. Not just that, why are continuously hearing we are still chasing a 'big fish', if we have no cap left?

I can't see Essendon trying to wriggle out of coughing up Pick 48 to seal the deal, can you?

Seems more likely that they're the ones trying to use Pick 48 as a sweetener, while we'd be pushing for more.

Pick 48 will end up being a pick nearing the 60's... wtf are we haggling for that for?
Based on what?

If you think bids will push it back, its more likely to have the opposite effect. Given bids are expected in the top 40, we get pushed out for each bid, but we come in for each pick used - most clubs will have to burn 2-3 picks inside the first 50 to secure a top 10 player, so a pick around the 50+ mark is actually more likely to come in than push out.

Terrible deal. Complete whitewash. Hoping there is no truth in it.

Spot on
