As per the Bluemour File OP, this is a thread for discussing Carlton related rumours.
http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/bluemour-file.1085141/

Rumour posters should post their rumours in both threads for those that like just to read rumours and for those that like to have get lost in their rumour files.

Remember ... #Bluemour

I wonder what SOS would accept if he was still List Mgr..

SOS wouldn't roll over and readily accept handing over the #8 with only a token pick coming back? That wasn't our SOS.
He's peddling a bit of crap around Saad. Not sure whether he's coming across wise, a little biased or maybe even somewhat senile :)

Essendon asking Saad to forgive and forget - That's a good one. Who makes this shit up?

Not that anybody would expect it to, but that tweet doesn’t make any sense?
Yeah it makes it sound like the blues want 8 and another pick to take Saad?

And how is it the Blues fault? Essendon are renowned for holding up trade period, they have an out of contract player they are wanting over the odds for and they are they ones refusing multiple offers and not conceding any ground.

Ol' mate Dodoro's worse nightmare is that we're splitting the pick - any slight bit of leverage he may have had totally disappears.

He threatened to trump us if we went ahead - ok, go ahead and do it.....but what if we then split it with another suitor? He's then just burnt pick 7...and pick 8 is no longer on the table. And the Lions aren't going to trade with him on a promise, and on the proviso that * have to get our pick 8 before the deal goes ahead.

So he's basically snookered, and he knows it. He then either has to accept the late 1st, or the possibility we pick Saad with it in the ND.

Which is why it's been reported * would be furious if we split the pick, and "it's incumbent on Carlton getting the deal done". Now they're reporting that they are trying to talk him into staying?

It seems he's in a fair bit of panic, the poor chap.

Next Political/US Election post I see will earn that poster a thread ban.

Several reminders have been posted.

POLITICS DOES NOT BELONG ON OUR BOARD.

Thanks all!

More drama late in the first week of the trade period?

Well I never!

It's almost like the AFL want plenty of tension over the weekend to keep interest levels up before all the exciting trades happen next week...

Next week on AFL Trade Radio...

...will Jeremy Cameron be forced to stay at GWS?
...does Carlton need to swallow its pride for the good of the competition?
...have the Bulldogs backflipped on Josh Dunkley, and can the AFL's own "Marlon Brando" seal the deal?
...and just how many left-footers have worn the number 19 on their guernsey in the last 60 years?

Tune in on Monday, but wait til Thursday, for the answers to these exciting questions!

There is no truth to any of the talk about us going after these fringe players (Dunstan, Anderson, mccartin to name a few). McC would be a vfl play.

Don't stress about Saad, we are in a good position.
That's funny... that's what I said in response to a post on Farcebook about McC having a medical at the club.
