As per the Bluemour File OP, this is a thread for discussing Carlton related rumours.
http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/bluemour-file.1085141/

Rumour posters should post their rumours in both threads for those that like just to read rumours and for those that like to have get lost in their rumour files.

Can you break it down into on topic, off topic and cheese puns please....

I can but I need you to do the same so we can compare results for accuracy.

Glad I found this site! I've spent a while reading through the comments and it's been a lot of fun. There is a lot of excitement around what could still happen this off season.

In regards to Dunkley, It's disappointing that it seems he is headed to Ess. I feel he would have fit nicely into our team but having said that, there are some important off season reminders iv'e learnt over the years, that seem to always be forgotten in this crazy media fest time of the year.

Every player seems to be a star and it is easy to get sucked in because we crave to 'win' the race to sign players.
Sometimes no news is good news, it's OK if we don't recruit half a dozen players. Quality over quantity every day.
We don't want to over pay B grade players with A grade money too often. You can probably afford to do it once but we need to be careful. We should spend our $$ on proven A graders. For this reason I am OK with not getting Dunkley and DeGoey as examples, as it seems we would have to pay up big time.

Anyway, thanks all for a great read.

you want a great read? Wait for Windows Preseason Training reports.

highlight of the year.

His biased was like Kane Cornes at a Walsh Vs Rozee debate
It’s not just Walsh, anything Carlton he is biased against. Campaigner

A wonderful first post, but I do envy you here.

My first post back in 2015 would have probably been my 30th after having 29 deleted on me beforehand. 😅

I think we are so light on for mids, that we are only an injury or two away from catastrophe.
Id like one more bona fide mid to come in.
My opinion for what it's worth is that we need 3-4 elite/A Grade mids with a strong supporting cast (playing and depth) to genuinely compete.

I rate Cripps as our only genuine elite/AGrader. With Walsh if he plays there, and Williams to come in.

Tigers - Martin, Prestia, Cotchin,Edwards, Lambert, Graham
Cats - Selwood, Guthrie, Duncan, Parfitt, Menagola.
Bulldogs - Bont, Macrea, Hunter, Smith, Libba
Demons - Oliver, Petracca, Viney, Brayshaw
Port - Wines, Rockliffe, Boak, Amon
Lions- Zorko, Neal, McLuggage, Lyons
Pies - Adams, Pendlebury,Treloar, Sidebottom

We definitely need another A grade mid.
And we need to play the mids we've got as mids. Get Murphy out of the midfield and at HF, stop moving Gibbo around and play him as a permanent mid. Get Dow on the ball, O'Brien & Polson dont get games unless someone goes down. SPS to the wing. Continually changing up our midfield yet leaving Cripps & Curnow (and Murphy) to continue shouldering the load without rotation is not getting game time into young upcoming mids.
