I cut Polson and Moore. They seem to be the most obvious rightly or wrongly.

37 players on the primary list including Gibbo. Need to cut down to 35 before the draft (3 required selections).

Gibbo can be counted as one of those selections, so we need to drop one if no one else is traded in...Moore, come on down

Didn't Kemp get a BOG as KPD , KPF and Inside Mid all in the same year before his ACL ? I'm sure I read that somewhere , I know he will be eased into it next year but it's hard to believe we got such a player at the pick we got him at .

Whitfield goes alright. Houli and Short with 3 of the last 4 runner ups for the norm Smith with the latter being a BandF winner in a premiership year, JJ winning a Norm one year before Houli got his first runners up. I think some are seriously underrating the role HB’s are playing

I’d be interested to hear what currency you guys think LOB holds? Former top-10 pick with lots of potential however he’s yet to set the competition on fire.

Second or third rounder?

I really like LOB. I thought he had some good flashes in 2019 and he showed some good signs in one of the practice games this year. I watched him run down the wing and kick a ripping goal on the run from a wide angle. I was hoping this would be his breakout year, but not to be. I still have hope, but honestly, on exposed form he's probably worth a pick in the range of 30-45. At that price I would rather he remain on our list. If another club was willing to offer up a future second rounder or a 2020 pick in the 20s, I think you would grab that and run.

GWS gave up Taylor Adams for Heath Shaw. That's probably the closes equivalent.

Officially we got rated a C for the trade period that netted us Curnow, McKay & Weitering did we not yet all of bigfooty was happy.

Maybe bigfooty knows best and the media are happy only when we fail.

Maybe not, they were drafted not traded for.

Want something good you usually have to give up something good. Club has said for awhile it's not interested in kids and is looking for needs. We got those needs now it's up to those individuals to perform.

Paying unders or overs is largely down to personal opinion and as shown on here there is a healthy dose of both.

No one knows whether what we've done will be a winning strategy or not but it's done so I'm getting on board for an improved 2021.

Agreed. Adams easily worth a minimum of 2x first rounders and then some now. I know that wasn’t his value back then, however his potential was enormous. drafted at pick 13.

Don't know how true this is but a mate just told me we are into Hewett from Swans and LOB might be part of it , reckons Swans wanted Lochie in his draft year , if I remember correctly Hewett played well on Crippa last time and could be an Ed type shutdown replacement. Could be yanking my chain but I guess with a day left time will tell .

Both Doc and Saad are considerable updates on Zac (to my way of thinking) Doc all Australian and Saad 4th, 3rd and 3rd in the last three * B & F's. Zac could only aspire to those heights, good player and all.

So you're expecting Saad to repeat his top 3 B&F finishes at the blues? Or become a captaincy candidate?

Saad and Zac are far more similar than Saad and Doc. And an easier comparison to make given that both have been traded recently.

And for what it's worth Doc was actually traded for a pick in the 30's, despite being taken at pick 12. And why was this so? Because he was out of contract.
