Draft builds premiership teams not trading 1st round picks for a HBF, infuriating people don't grasp this.

We're very one paced so adding Saad, Williams and Fogarty is a justifiable move - like adding Burgoyne / Frawley / Lake / McEvoy / etc. was for Hawthorn.

I think we're still one quality mid short but that supposed Dow or someone doesn't improve next year.

The game in which we got thumped by the Crows this season proved to me that we are miles off the pace (from being close to flag contenders)

Also Richmond in 2016 is not an apt comparison, they played finals in 2013, 14 and 15.

At this stage, I don't realistically think we should be considered locks to play finals either in 2021.

We need to be more measured and conservative as to where our list is at going into 2021.

We have been seriously rebuilding for 5 years. We should have made finals this year, if our program was on time. If we do not make finals next year there will need to be a very serious rethink of our strategies. Not making finals next year gives a very clear indication that the players and coach are not going to be a premiership threat whilst Cripps is still going around.
