Why would the young guns have any reason to believe we are on the right track? We are a bee's whisker away from being a bottom 4 team, and we could all probably dredge up 50 signs that we aren't on the right track.

I'd argue it is worse than a bad 'look' or the need for a good 'feel'. It is a ticking time-bomb at the moment, with a mass walkout still on the card.

If McKay is on the verge of signing, that's a very positive sign.

Get the first 2-3 big pieces to re-sign, and we at least have stability in the playing group while the external review into the club takes place. Our players are our most important assets, and while we've mis-managed them badly (in terms of both injury management and fitness, and in development) it's not too late to start turning that around, but we have to actually keep them for that to occur.

That’s pretty much what I said. Is there something wrong in this room at the moment?

Really? In the bye week? Jesus Harry, have some standards mate. They haven't done anything yet. At least take a few phone calls, have a cup of coffee in public and wait till a few things change on field. We're mediocre. If you're just happy to be there, collect a pay cheque, and have the ball kicked to you a lot, you're part of the problem.

Maybe he loves his work environment, appreciates the opportunity he's been given and fully believes in the direction the clubs heading??. Just saying. If he does stay it won't be about collecting a paycheck because im pretty sure he could collect a much bigger one elsewhere.

Probably our most important player .Love Harry. Our spine looks good .

At first I thought this was profound sarcasm, then I remembered where I was... now genuinely not sure.

Apparently he's told Carlton to GAGF, and wants to be traded to Adelaide.
and young reid is scrabbling to find the 4 first rounders he has committed to...........

2 years for H is great news.

Yep. Takes him to free agency and if we're still not going anywhere you can't blame him for cashing in on a new broadcaat deal.

Yes if you exercise, lose weight, stop drinking and take blue pills

The whole team needs to take some navy blue pills.

They are having trouble 'keeping it up' for 4 quarters....

Yes...
Harry repays the faith that Carlton showed in him... Well done Harry!!!
Wish it was longer (like my wife), but was always going to be a 2 year until FA signing... (which is now the norm)

PS (Tenacious Tip) - Stay away from any opposition supporter girls/boys named Meghan...

Massive news regarding Harry. A little bit of a bummer if it is only for 2 years as I would have preferred longer but makes sense from Harry’s perspective. I guess this team will have to give Harry a reason to stay long-term by making finals next year and the year after.

Get Cripps done now and then a long-term contract for Sam Walsh would be my ideal next few months.
