It appears, on face value, to be such a neat fit for Clarkson to have a year off in 2022:

- can take a cushy low-hours, low-commitment media gig to recharge the batteries
- can pocket Jeff's cash with no strings attached
- can study and/or travel
- can work on the Tassie grand plan from the comfort of home
- can be home to encourage healthy year 12 study habits
- can let the many offers for 2023 roll in and choose accordingly

What a mad lad he'd be to take on our gig instead! AFL coaches are a bit of a different breed, though, I guess.
