I know when the coach will be announced.

So Teague got sacked, I missed it driving Perth to Kalgoorlie

Liddle got sacked I was driving Kattaning to Dunsborough

Cook gets signed I was driving Perth to Dunsborough.

Next Thursday I will be driving Perth to Geraldton (7am-11am EST) & back (6pm - 10pm EST)

coach to be announced in that window as I always return with heaps of pages to catch up.

For added certainty Teague was appointed & I was driving from Perth to Geraldton…
Just want to point out told you so. Just arrived in Geraldton and catching up on this news

To add: both co-captains fully on board (even if one or both are no longer captains)

Whenever I think of our captains, my mind straight away goes to the health of Sam. I can't imagine how hard the last few months have been for him and I just pray he will be OK and continue to do what he loves. I have met him twice now and he is a special person.

Yeah, I wanted Teague because I thought losing the continuity with bringing in a new coach would waste more time after we'd just blown 2 years. I was clearly wrong and we just wasted another 2.

Let's hope Vossy gets us to where we should be.

I’m backing in the George Costanza “I’m a loser so why don’t I just do everything against my natural instincts and maybe I’ll start winning” principle.

Recent Messiah coaches haven’t worked, untried coaches the same. So… hey…what about a guy who was sacked first time around but has learnt well from that experience??

Good luck Vossy.

Well Damien the mouthpiece Barrett been going on about how Vossy should be coaching for the past 18 months -- wonder how long till he starts putting a fork in him

1-2 weeks ... into the season ... then it will be all about the lack of support yadee yadda ...

well...I hope I can come back here in a years time and eat my words about Voss.

being passionated and wanting what's best for this club is all I've ever thought about this year, I just hope Voss can find the burning desires in the players again and take us to no.17.

Prove me wrong Vossy.

Another year of Teague, if he struggled again, meant we would have more choice of experienced coaches, including Clarko. Voss is the Bradbury, as if the Scotts, or Buckley, for example, were available, Voss wouldn't have got a look in. If he does well, great, happily eat the humble pie, but if he struggles then we watch the likes of Clarko go other places while we have Voss. We looked for experience and it is ironic the 5 years of failure at Brisbane was the thing that got Voss over the line ahead of Kingsley.

Brad & Chris Scott, Craig McCrae & Justin Leppitsch all were captained by Voss (to multiple premierships). Interesting.

If Voss is Bradbury, how was he ever made Brisbane Captain to begin with (and keep the job)?

I seriously doubt Parkin, Williams and Cook are mugs. Maybe a certain kind of leader, via the report, was identified. On field, Voss credentials are unquestioned. I hope that translates off field now that he has a new opportunity. I was unsure before, but I am warming to the appointment.

I do admire that Voss really wanted the job, unlike the former coach of the Tassie poos & wees.

Have my reservations about Vossy as a coach, but it's official so time to get around him and support the club.
Getting great assistants will ease my concerns, but loved him as a player and know that his hard-arse nature will rub off on the players.
