So Cripps decided to turn his toes up until they got rid of him.

This skipper did it to Bolts as well. Give it to Weitering. Him and Jones never drop their heads and they’re on the receiving end of our mids woeful efforts.

I think Cook, Sayers, Vossy and co will be having many a discussion about the Captaincy issue....

No fan of two Captains and not sure the 'burden' is doing Cripps or Doc any favours....

I tend to think Weiters as #1 and Walsh as #2 is optimum going forward....

Will Cripps or Doc sook it up if stripped of the role - I doubt Doc would, not so sure about Crippa....

I'll put it this way:

The question should be, if we could trade pick 6 (+/- whatever extras), and pay $700-750k for any mid in the League who would be worth that trade/salary value, would we choose Cerra?

I think he's the wrong player for us to spend that much on now.

base + heavy performance incentives.

If he produces the goods, well he's earnt $700k.

If hoe doesn't produce, her earns a lot less.....

Isn't that the way it works for most?

Good points.

Frankly, if he sooks it up at that he’s the wrong bloke for the job.

Gee whiz...
Mitchell, Hewett, & Cerra. Lets entertain it for a second

Hewett - FA
Cerra - Pick 6 (2021)
Mitchell - Future First and a late junk pick?

Can we really afford to keep giving away first-rounders?
Or take the punt for proven talent?
