Fair call but then again remember how utterly sh.t we looked heading into 2021 finals. We were utterly flogged heading into 2016, a $67 chance. Maybe lightning can't strike 3 times, but who the hell knows?

It’s worth keeping in mind what we did to GWS a few weeks out from finals in 2019 only for them to return the favour week one. You never know what will happen on a given day and after a bye. Much prefer to make it.

I started watching not knowing who id barrack for. part of me always wants us to play finals, and its good for the club financially, and for younger fans. but part of me fears a belting. so i just started watching to see what would happen.

We had some stinkers pre finals in 2021 but we weren’t a bad side. We’re a bad side the last 3 months.

I’d rather have the chance than not. But would be expecting to lose badly.

Yeah I get that, I came in wanting Blues to win but I realised pretty quickly I really don’t care and even maybe leaning towards subconsciously barracking for the Giants tbh.

I think like you said just finally putting an end to this shit season sounds pretty bloody nice.

There’s also the argument that a big loss in finals could be more damaging to a pretty mentally suspect team, if GWS win today we end our season somewhat on a high, obvious changes to be made. If we make the finals and get smashed it would put a real downer on the start of the offseason.

I think I want this to end today, and I think GWS will make that happen anyway tbh
