Will Saturday nights now sellout Carlton vs Hawthorn game at Telstra Dome be a new record crowd and will CH 10 get to televise it live?

they wont televise it live cos itll jeopordize numbers. it will be televised like 30mins behind.
only question is about being a sellout is whether or not the medallion club area is full. all other seats are sold out

The Medallion Club tickets at my mum's work have been gone since round 5, whoever took them is a very smart person. I think if a business owned Medallion Club tickets, someone would go to this game.

Medallion Club will be full. I can't see anyone missing this game. I'm there for $50. If ya get tickets, ou'd better go. This will be one for the ages!

the venue should have been swapped with the north and port game on the same day. does the afl have any common sense here. they could easily get 70 to 80 thousand to this game. the north port game will struggle to get 30 thousand. well done 10 for trying to show it live as well. sexen would never try and do that
This has always happened, but the AFLs excuse is the shit drawing teams have to play some MCG games whilst TD want some big drawing games instead of being stuck with the crap every week

I'm attending and have no intention of watching the game. I'll concentrate on stretching my hosts credit limit instead. Why bother posting this? Because hopefully it will be a sell out and I'll be depriving a Hawks or Blues fan a much wanted spot.

It will be interesting to see how many people get turned away from this match at the gate. And unfortunately it might be at the expense of members who don't have a reserved seat, and just have 11 game memberships.

I think Ticketmaster have oversold general admission on level 3 and have underestimated the number of eligible members who'll show up.

Let's hope it's not like last year's game when they kept squeezing people into level 3 even when it was clearly overcrowded.

You just know there are going to be problems on Saturday night and you can point the finger at the AFL for the poor fixturing and Greg Swann who had the choice of making it a ticketed game and declined to do so.

Last years game was a shocker, thankfully i got there early but people were standing in the aisles on level 3 it was that packed.

Thankfully this year its our home game so im going to love my level 1 reserved seat :thumbsu:

We are talking about the AFL record not the 56,800 Rugby Test numbers where there were extra seats with the wings fence moved forward
