His father played centre half forward for Hawthorn when Peter Hudson was playing...evidently he was locked in to playing full forward but Hudson was thought to be the better option. He was then traded to Geelong and played in the 1989 grand final and kicked a bag of goals... so I think both of those teams could pick JC up under the father-son. I think we should stick to the Boyd strategy. From what I've heard JC is a bit like Bucks when he was younger.... very opinionated and focused...but unfortunately he doesn't seem to be focused on his football. He mightn't be a good fit.
Yeah stick with Boyd. I heard JC had real problems with the coach at Jerusalem. Apparently Iscariot took him under his wing and he made some bad choices.
I think it would take another big player as well as pick 10 for us to get pick 1 from GWS.
They'll hold out for something like Shaw, Beams/Sidebottom/Pendles/Swan and Pick 10
So basically nothing that we'd be keen to give as the payoff of Boyd would ruin our existing list too much.
I'd do it for the right price.

LOLEagles can give us pick 6 and either wellingham back or gaff
I wouldnt believe that guy. It seems that he did a Dale Thomasand changed sides for a lousy 30 pieces of silver...
Shaw is contracted and cant go to the PSD. Thank god.Decline and trade adams to geelong then get Shaw to walk to them in the PSD where they have the first pick
GWS have a lot more leverage to use than us... shaw has already agreed to join them whilst Adams still has other serious suitors, we can't push them around.
Something.
In all seriousness, Swanny is a club legend that almost won the Brownlow this year. He is one of the reasons we have been so dominant for the last few years and signed up for unders with us when he could have gone elsewhere.
He has made some mistakes, but he has also showed a willingness to atone for them and has provided more than enough to justify himself as valuable and important to Collingwood.
He is getting on, but he still seems to have at least another 2 to 3 years in him. Despite 'losing all his mates' he has shown a willingness to stick around and play with the club he loves.
He has won a Brownlow and numerous AA's and BnF's.
Trading him for an unproven pick is a very reckless and disloyal, no matter what number it is.
I care not for the army, I care for the club.
Ever heard the saying "A person is smart, people are stupid"?
Hebrews 13:8 ( def Ephesians 5:6)Yeah he was ok, performed a few miracles but was never consistent.
No. but I heard but I've heard that one swan in the hand is worth two in the lake...
Hebrews 13:8 ( def Ephesians 5:6)
Conversion rate...I like that!So your saying he was consistent? How was he with the ball? What was his conversion rate like?
If they rate whoever they can get at #11 approximately the same as #6.Why the hell would the WCE's do this in a weak draft.

He went okay, but those umpires...they crucified him...
He was crucified by the Roman umpires.Didn't Jesus struggle to get a game in the 2's for Jerusalem?
