I wouldn't say Ed's kicking is poor but it needs to improve.
Where Brad's kicking appears better, they are usually taken under less pressure which comes from playing in a better team.
I don't think Brad has the same appetite for hard get footy as Ed Langdon does.
It's all perception now as Ed is only starting out.
Agreed. But I can't see Langdon being an elite user of the ball. His kicking has been terrible in most of the games this year that he has played (bar 3 where his kicking was good). The inconsistency is what worries me long term. Id take the certainty of Brad Hill improving our midfield kicking over the prospect of Langdon improving his kicking to the level of Brad.

Hes a second year player mate, not many players have a constant output at that age. Fyfe didnt, nor did Neale.

Only a handful of players improve their disposal significantly from when they are in their first couple of years. Yep there are a few, but rarely does a player go from being average in the early years of their career to elite in their prime years. For what it is worth just re-read some of my posts and came across harsher then intended. Apologies for that.

That had to be his best game for Freo, was absolutely immense.

We are going to be so much better when his brother is back in the team and we have another option to link up, break the lines, lower the eyes and run the way he does.
