That could be a possibility.
Dont mind this arragement , long term langdon improve his kicking with hawthorn. Freo get to relegated d.pearce if he still play the same stuff week in week out in 2017. Hate to see him with peel but i think freo postie here cant see him in freo best 22 .

Someone heard a rumour that Clarke is involved with the Hawthorn trade due to the knee injury to their ruckman, yeah I know all speculation. Honestly the best player you could grab from us is Langdon so much upside and could be playing the same role as Hill as early as next year.

Langdon, Weller, Sheridan or Crozier are the most likely candidates IMO. All about the right price/age, and all Victorians.

Improve his kicking with Hawthorn?
They'll probably apply some of that "Clarkson Cream" they keep in the basement. You know, the one in the special brown an gold tubes that they developed back in '08 and no one has been able to pry the secret formula for, like Kentucky Fried Chicken or Coke.

Clarke is an unrestricted free agent. Nobody needs to trade for him.

calm down meima... you only have to tolerate danyle pearce until 2018, you will survive. lol

What I find interesting is that one of the criticisms of D. Pearce is that he doesn't go in for the tackle or halve the contest when he's the only person in the area. You see oppo players just handball or run past him when he was the closest to the ball, and could have impacted.

If that's his directive though - and his mindset is to stay on the outside and not go when it's his turn as he's needed for the receive - then I wonder if B Hill will be seen any differently. Also an outside player who's first priority is to sit and wait.

Possibly true, but I think the upside is that B Hill is simply a better player at this point in time.
Hill does actually throw himself into contests - when he has to. Instructed not to, doesn't want to by preference, isn't really the issue. But as an outside runner, B Hill has the kick accuracy to be an upgrade on Pearce, is my opinion. He believes in himself and what he is supposed to be doing, Pearce doesn't.

Honestly, if Pearce's delivery was better, we really wouldn't have much of a problem with him. He fills a role that every team needs some players to fill.
But when we get rid of all the talk and comments about commitment to the contest etc out of it, then Hill is the way to go simply because he can kick straight. It's that simple for mine.

That could be a possibility.
If we don't offer a contract to Zac Clarke after meeting with Hawthorn football department and you make an offer that would guarantee us at least pick 40 (for losing Clarke) we could then arrange a deal where you get Zac and Langdon and pick 40 in exchange for Brad Hill. In that scenario everybody wins. Pick 40 could also be used by you guys as part of a deal for Tom Mitchell perhaps.

Then i want him , weller and him as wing and HF will be handy , add in the hardness of grey as fullback . Kind of balance it out.
But the left side is the main problem . Stephen hill is good ,so is crozier but thier work will be undo by d.pearce.

Theres no way the club will give that up for a low priority player.
