Doing the tzerk
Well yes that would be nice, but I’ve spoken before that we should never rely on future things working our way to validate making present day decisions.
It’s really poor logic and it fails more often than it pays off.
A great example is using something like poker.
You have a pair of 3’s after the flop and there’s a j and a k on the flop as well. Everyone goes all in on the next two rounds and you push in.
Dumb as hell, 2 3’s when there’s a good chance someone else has a higher pair.
The river card turns (last card) and it’s a 3 and you have 3 of a kind while the other guys just have high pairs.
It’s a great win. Enjoy it.
But the great luck doesn’t rewrite history. It was a bad decision. And more often than not that decision would bite you.
Zerk could work out to be a champion, it’s still poor decision making to fold to essendon when we have the upper hand in the younger contracted player and their player is prepared to walk to us in the draft.

Yeah don’t mind this at all. Think BZT will be a solid role player for us, and as much as I like the guy I don’t think we can afford to play Duursma as a low-impact, non-accumulating wingman.
