Maynard is gonski - he is taking one for the good of the game and Brayshaw is taking one for the goof of the next game up on fridy night - same as Harry and Martin - if teh AFL play their cards right they can introduce MC lotto a new betting game - give out odds with their gambling partners on which players are going to get rubbed out - with som e'inside' wink wink foreknowledge thrown in and a profit share kick back on top...

Maynards BS move if allowed to go through is an open invitation for blokes to make themselves into projectile missiles ...it wasn't a realistic attempt at anything - it was just Maynard showboating and doing his I'm a really really tough bloke and will make you earn it routine...

deserves it- how Christian thought it wasnt even reportable - when blokes have been suspended all year for what used to be proper AFL tackles is beyond me...that was a late hit to teh head if nothing else.

True - accidents do happen - but if a player has contributed to an accident due to an unrealistic attempt that is on them. My view is Maynard's attempt was unrealistic...
