Let’s await the selection.

If he is selected it’s because he’s seen as best 22 v Geelong.

If not, he’s not.

Why people hence assume it’s his attitude I’m not certain.

Personally I prefer Sier in getting games than say Goldsack. As much as Tyson is a wonderful team guy, puts in 100%, but he’s a good trier and medium level talent. Much prefer Brayden and his vision, tackling, creation.

But that’s just me.
Long term Sier is the future.

Sier is way better than Goldsack already, it's just they play different roles. Sier is trying to break into the midfield which is where all our guns are and he can't really play anywhere else. Rupert Wills knows all about that.

Well let's all think a minute

Boys not aerobic ally fit enough after last season a time on ground

I believe like most clubs we have a weightless treadmill

Also have a altitude room

HES BUILDING HIS TANK

The altitude room is where the weightless treadmill is located, which is upstairs at the Holden Centre. I was fortunate enough to have a tour, which was fascinating. In the altitude room the various settings were named after mountains which simulated the air conditions at their various heights. The weightless treadmill was also fascinating. An inflatable harness is wrapped around you and it holds you up so your feet only just touch the treadmill.

Given his rapid rise last season on the back of a professional approach to his football it's surprising and disappointing if he has fallen back into some bad habits of old.

Personally I had him penciled in as a certain member of the 22 for round 1 when the preseason commenced.

For mine that may be speculation too far. It was reported Sier went to a Muy Thia camp again in the off season and in the Jan time trial came 11th which I believe is a massive improvement for him . Well behind him we’re the likes of Stevo, Pendles, both Browns, Thomas and many others.

I think it’s a step too far to say he has dropped off standards when evidence suggests he hasn’t. I suspect Pendles may be saying a few good games in 2018 isn’t a guarantee and competition is hot. Daicos, both Browns, Quaynor, Wills etc etc are after a spot, Beams is back and Mayne, Greenwood, Aish et al are not giving up their spots. It may be not fitness rather these blokes being more impressive so far, great if that’s the case.

I a Sier fan big time but won’t hurt if he has to force to get himself above a talented mob

This biggest knock on young Sier's progression to date, he's an inside midfielder and that's it. You can't rest him forward, he simply doesn't have an impact.

If he plays in the VFL I hope CFC mix his roles up, midfield/forward or midfield/half back flank.

Personally, I would play him in the AFL. Treloar, Beams, De Goey, Sidebottom, Aish, Crisp are all capable of playing forward/back/mid roles.

I'd have no problem sleeping at night if one of Mayne, Goldsack or Greenwood made way for Sier.

I think our sponsorship of him this year may have gone to his head. I don’t like what I’m hearing.
At least Quaynor (the runner up candidate) knows he has to work harder to get our hard earned.

I’ll have a word to bear.

I hope the bear is not really a pony in disguise

His commitment issues in the past have made me worried. Hopefully he'll be worried. Feel like he hasn't committed to building his gas tank though.

He signed a one year extension before he made his debut from memory, on the back of his solid VFL form early 2018

I'm sure he'll be back soon, a bit of building via the VFL then make the step up

Is that a baby bear's head he's got in that photo? Gruesome.
Unfortunately yes. I was seeking a vicious, eating-your-own style version of Sier to contrast the new lobotomized VFL participant. The photos have disappeared from my screen. The mods may have determined the first photo unsuitable for SV consumption.(Not to mention the odd kiddy unfortunate enough to be posting in this forum)

(EDIT My mistake. The photos are there.)

The photos are still there, unfortunately. I say unfortunately, because Saintly is going to save them and then continue the jinx by reposting them.
