How about this?

The club knew before they actually played all of those games what the schedule was, and should have taken steps to realise and then minimise the chances of such injuries occurring?

the only one who had issues in the past was treloar, and I’m sure he was likely a rest against adel. pendles and sier can’t be put down to anything but bad luck.

So now that's Pendlebury, Sier and Treloar with soft tissue injuries thanks to Gil's footymania and the ridiculous schedule Collingwood received, disgraceful any club played 4 games in 13 days across three timezones.
The packed time table hasn't affected Melbourne or Port much at all. The Eagles are flying and so is Brisbane as far as injuries go. We have just as many in a normal season.

They have been. Plenty of resting and squad management going on. You still need to put out a competitive side onto the park though.

I think we can say this if Grundy gets injured. Doesn’t quite apply to Sier.

How could you forget the ruptured testicle - shameful :)

Damn shame, finally gets his chance, showing more than a bit and then goes down with a long term injury.
Five years on the list he is going to start running out of tickets to the big dance pretty soon.
Hope he can get back before the end of the year.

The summation from Bucks was the most positive I've ever heard him about Sier.
NB: "What we saw from there was enormous growth to contribute in an important role in and important win. He was able to push through it, but it turns out the injury is quite significant and not that common."
NB: It’s 4-6 weeks at this point. It was an amazing effort from a young fella to stand up when he was required by the team.

So we basically Luke Ball'd him?

Made him play through a quad tear which likely made it significantly worse...

No wonder he wasnt chasing hard lucky to even be able to jog let alone sprint.
But his handball to kick ratio is out of whack, so delist... am I doing it right?
