West Coast has kept Cousins on its list for the moment for legal reasons.
The commission can only charge Cousins for bringing the game into disrepute if he is a listed player.

I wonder if this was done because WC kept him on their list?

They would not have been able to touch him if He was delisted.

Are the AFL upset with this because it stops Ben nominating for the draft?

Does this mean if the commission delist him on the 19th that any settlement form WC will be included in the 2007 cap?

So many questions.

I am assuming you have never read the WADA drug code. You can be suspended for a larger period of time under that code for NOT taking a drug test, for what ever reason. You are assumed guilty, due to your refusal.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise the police officers that were targeting him were doing a test on behalf of WADA.

There are two issues a contract/employment issue with WC, this has pretty much nothing to do with the AFL actions.

The AFL as an Industry body is in deep p** because you can't stop someone working in their trade without a independent disciple procedure.

So with the WC help the AFL is backpeddling very quickly

That the tribunal has total descretion on what constitutes the charge, what constitutes proof and what the penalty is, is ridiculous. David Hicks got more justice. All the AFL will achieve is perhaps stop Benny Playing next year but at a risk of millions they may have to pay out, probably a secret settlement will be reached
