And anyways, this is a "what if" discussion...what if Boomer never got suspended? What if he played in a couple of dynasties like Tuck? What if Tuck started earlier? And so on. All good fun.

No worries, I enjoy these type of discussions. I have amended my previous post as it seems 50 is now the accepted total for Tuck in the Magoos.

Harvey should absolutely play on. It's not as if he is being nursed to the milestone. He is still quite clearly in the top half dozen players at the club. I'm sure Tucky wouldn't mind passing the record along; he's got plenty of other records that are likely to last forever-ish.

Theres 50 other players who can do what Harvey is doing. Nobody else in the AFL could do what Fletcher was doing. Harvey didnt win 7 flags or anything like that.
