Some of the stuff I've read on the last few pages is downright horrible to Harvey's career. No wonder most North supporters refuse to post on the main board now.

We still get plenty anyway.
Either way, you can't please everyone. You are allowed to be critical of a player, within reason, on the main board. As we keep re-iterating, if you think a poster breaks the main board posting guidelines, report it.
Otherwise, the main board would be a fairly dull place if threads were always 'Player X is an amazing player with no weaknesses' and the following 50 posters echo the same view. If you enter a thread titled 'Brent Harvey' on the main board, you have unreasonable expectations if you think everyone will fawn over his career. The mods have already deleted a lot of the posts that crossed the line.
If you are still unhappy with the main board, then I respectfully suggest you stick to your club board.

I don't mind the majority of posts on here, it's just the ones that say, 'Harvey is a lier and he is a greedy midget. his partner is also fat". Comments like this add absolutely nothing to the discussion and benefit no one. For the most part the mods do an excellent job of cleaning it up but it's just disappointing that people make these posts in the first place.
If people don't like Harvey, fine. They just don't need to make a spectacle of themselves while doing it.

Back when he was 30. Where most within a year or two cant compete at AFL level. After he had played 13 seasons of good footy.
Yet here we are 5 years on and hes still got it.
Its a shame the jealousy of North has created a clique of sad individuals who go to a Roos thread like kids to an ice cream truck to become heroes.
I remain adamant our club is used to create traffic for this site. Nothing more. Keep the advos happy.

I actually thought the main board was for reasonable discussion, back before your time there was a board created for those that like to throw out a line to see what strikes, it had some initial success, but then, like society, familiararity bred contempt, mods became complacent, and you get what we have here today, bf mirroring society.
