In fairness, we had an awesome run that year and look what happened. I'm pretty sure Mick sold his soul after 2009 for good luck in 2010, in exchange for 3 years of bad luck at Collingwood. They say he thought 2010 would save his job...

Shattered for the Caff. Have been lucky enough to meet him and he is a real genuine guy, dedicated and humble. Sometimes the worst happens to the best and it hurts like a mother****er. He knows what's required though to get back, and I have total confidence he has the will to do it.

I've come to the conclusion that someone at the club walked under a ladder while smashing a mirror during our premiership celebrations in 2010. That'd explain the 4 years after that of injury woes. On the bright side we only have 3 years of the 7 left! So by my logic unless someone tempts fate we are due a good injury run in 2018!

I don't like to point fingers but Malthouse is my prime suspect.
