Saw nothing tonight that made me feel that any of these 3 guys will make an impact this season.

Yarran might one day be more than a 1 trick pony goalsneak. Garlett is all over him.

Hendo may put on some size and be able to hold his ground against medium sized defenders

Brock....urrgghhhh. We have Hadlee. Why did we get him too?

I thought Henderson & Yarran both showed some really promising signs. McLean was pretty rusty but he'll improve as he gets some more games under his belt playing with a new team.

Yarran had a good game and was clearly better than Garlett

Yarran can only turn a slow defender inside out and run hard along the boundary line.

Garlett, as well as that also chases, creates, passes with accuracy and HAS A GO AT EVERY CONTEST

Garlett any day

Werd.

If some of these a$$clown posters were working for our football club we'd delist every single 18/19yo we had because they didn't star in their first two seasons.

Yarran was one of the few positives.

Henderson is hopeless

Yarrans chasing and tackling was better than Garletts tonight, he is far more creative, mainly through his brilliant ball handling skills and he had a massive go tonight. I'm not sure you were actually watching tonights game.

I hope you get banned from posting on the Carlton board, like your other aliases.

I think you were watching the wrong game, Its the first f@cking game, take it easy.

Yarran was ok in 1 or 2 isolated highlight real moments. But he did nothing else. He didnt assist in any goals, or provide forward line pressure. No midfield pressure form him at all. Jogged around all night unless the ball was in his immediate vacinity

He has a touch of the Daniel Wells's. Someone needs to boot him up the backside and get him working.

He wont play much for us this year

Hendo and Hampson....shocking

Sauce looked pretty good. Warnock showed a few little things but didnt play much. Kruezer looks lost up forward unfortunately.

Our structure is a rabble. Waite will need to play forward, Kruezer in the ruck with Sauce or Warnock backup. Thank christ for Bowyer

I missed this experts presence on the board over summer with his thoughtful posts and predictions over summer.

Die hard Carlton supporter...

I hope you get banned from posting on the Carlton board, .

Why? Because I have an opinion that isnt flowery and all sweet as sugar?

I stated that I dont think these guys will do much for us THIS YEAR based on what I saw tonight.

Yarran frustrates me the most because he only shows flash in the pan qualities. I want to see some hard work from him....look at what Leon Davis did last year when he finally woke up. Can someone please do the same to Yarran?

Mate,

I'm as die hard as they come. Doesn't mean I'm naive.

Just for some history, I've been a member since 1999. In that year I was in the cheer squad and made the banner and held it up proudly on PF and GF day.

I've done the hard yards, lived and breathed our successes and failures, remained passionate but at all times have kept objective about our team.

Google the word "objective" and school yourself

I really think ya'll are barking up the wrong tree trashing Henderson. He looked like a good young KPP prospect (ie. what he is) tonight.

Someone said he was outbodied by a medium defender... did you mean 23yo 99kg Heath Grundy? Outbodied 92kg 20yo (just) Henderson? No kidding. Of course he did. And only in a few contests, Henderson got him a couple of times too, but spilled the pill.

Guy is a long-termer, and I liked the glimpses I saw on a hot, February night when the Blues TOTALLY phoned it in.

He showed nothing you could not be happy with that effort from a 3rd year top 10 draft pick. Keep in mind he didnt get a kick in the friggin intra club game last week.

God i hope he comes good but i am in shock with how little he showed.

I agree. Played better as the night went on which is what I believe we look for in a new recruit settling in. Also has a real dip with his second and third efforts and defensive pressure, something a few people keep overlooking.

Henderson presented better than any other forward. Laid a few tackles. Got hands to the ball in plenty of contests (didn't pluck many). Against bigger and more experienced opponents. When the delivery was abominable.

I thought his effort was fine.

Who have we had that's looked more like a CHF? Certainly nobody since Big Red was waddling around.

I think your desperation to find a fwd had u seeing things.
