I dont much attachment to social media and all the stuff people do, to get the attention of others, but I would find this a little bit humiliating if I was brodie.... and I only say that because this is coming from the media dept of his new club...

Work experience kids now allowed at Melbourne?

You would think they would highlight the football aspects.....well I would think that. Does everything have to boil down to this inane american movie-based humour?....I like humour but it's like rap...it's all the same.

maybe they should dress em up in spinal tap stuff.....wow i thought of that in 10 seconds...

Soy Latte Boy. What does that mean? What the f*** is the implication of it?

Please. Make it make sense. I want to understand you, Ron.

The pejorative usually relates to softness, which isn't something you'd associate with Grundy on a football field (i.e. where it counts) or in a negotiation.

It's like the other day, when you said that Brodes had never played decent football. On the face of it, such a comment is completely divorced from sanity, reality and common sense, but I know that you're onto something.

Don't be cryptic with your wisdom. Bring us simpletons along with you. Take us to your planet.

You can't be me, I'm a Rock Star. I'm typing from on the top of a cop car. I'm a rebel and my .44 pops far. And for Soy Boy, it's definitely over now, absolutely over now.
I guess you ain't heard that Fly traded the guy. It's not damn sad, and I don’t need to apologize.
When he was shown the door from our beloved Pies. It's definitely over now, absolutely over now…..

As I've mentioned before, the decline in our stars, the loss of Grundy, and the fact almost everything went well for us this year, means that we'll likely drop away. Hope not, but think we will.
You sound like every oppo supporter on main board.

Grundy added nothing to 2022 pies. Weve replaced his list spot with two needs in McStay (utility) Mitchell ( Clearances) & cleared a bulk of cap space

Our older players are contributing. Last i checked an age of a player is only relevant for the season they are playing, even then who cares. The ultimate aim is to produce a list that can win it all. If a 35 year old 350 something game player adds to that, then all the better for us. Sidebottom, Howe and Adams are nearing the end. But they arent as pivotal as Pendles. We are probably super blessed we have a generational talent in Naicos waiting in the wings who can slip into that role Pendles provides on and off the field.

No ones knocking a soy latte.

I use to call langdon Tommy Lattes , looks like he would enjoy a good espresso. Funnily enough he now runs a business selling coffee. When i say use to call , that was to myself at home , watching the pies on my own, no one else ever heard it.

More likely at the beginning when the discussions first happened and his manager tried to play the bravado card and totally rejected that option. That would have started everything else off. And that would have occurred mid season.

What the manager wasn’t accounting for was the other boys actually succeeding and getting us to a PF.

By the time the finals rolled by. Grundy had no legs to stand on. Figuratively.

So the manager initially stamps out the option. And then hopes that it would be revisited. Sorry you made your bed. Now lie in it.

His manager seems like he has buyers remorse.

Grundy was contracted the manager didn’t have to take any offers.

Reckon they'll be top 4 and we'll be 6-12. So yeah, chickens will probably come home to roost. Half this board will claim they were always against the trading of Grundy and knew it was a bad idea while they go back and delete their old posts. Love it.
Reckon the Demons will be mid table trying to chase our tail.

So, the fact that we were 1 kick from a GF with a banged up, undersized team and have now added all the depth we require to go to the next level isn't enough for you? I won't be deleting any old posts about Grundy because he's done * all for 3 years. I think we will win the flag next year not finish 6-12.
Hear hear. Mine will be plastered on here , not a loss to what direction we are heading in, too slow with ball transitions, not a smart footballer , low IQ in understanding with the feel of the game , will be even slower next year and onwards , Like a breath of fresh air . Good luck Chai Latte boy. Enjoy the cucumber sandwiches in the MCC long room

What’s with the coffee insults?
Really juvenile.

Look, it's a Ronnie thing.

He gets emotional. You know what he's like when he gets emotional.

Have empathy, it's hard for Ron to let Brodie go. So much of his life revolves around Brodes and he hasn't worked out how to fill the void just yet.

He'll get there. Even if he needs to go the full Ronnie and find another player to let inside his head, he'll get there.

Be kind.
