Reckon they'll be top 4 and we'll be 6-12. So yeah, chickens will probably come home to roost. Half this board will claim they were always against the trading of Grundy and knew it was a bad idea while they go back and delete their old posts. Love it.
Yea really unfortunate to see Grundy go. But if you had to choose between a Grundy and a Mitchell, they're both elite talents in their position (Mitchell having shown a higher ceiling) and Mitchell is probably a better fit given our lack of clearance mids.
Would've preferred to choose Grundy and not chase McStay though. Grundy tapping to Mitchell would've been a weapon for our clearances. If we needed a low output key forward, we could've gotten away with a Weideman/Schache for cheap. Wouldn't be that different to McStay.
