Bontempellis line was 24.5/25.5 depending on the book. Most counts had him max 26, if he polled all his votes.

Cripps & Naicos were 34/33, with Neale 32.

Someone who actually did their count or looked closely would have seen this and probably told her no Bont is actually a fair way off it - because she’s likely a casual fan who picks a nice popular guy as a popular pick, and isn’t doing her own 3-2-1 per game in Excel weekly ffs. It’s that simple.

If your conspiracy was true, Dill would discuss Brownlow voting with SB as the major gambling partner - not his wife for no gain & who clearly has a loose mouth in this case.

I guess in isolation thats a fair assumption, but when we had an umpire caught for giving vote info to outsiders, who knows what to believe.

Its not a good look either way.

Except his conversations with Mrs. Dillon could be classified as 'spousal privilege', whilst the same conversations with Sportsbet would be a criminal offence.

This is the biggest mental gymnastics to give Dillon a pass on this. Cripps ending up polling 45 FFS, Neale only 22. Tells you how well informed the bookies were. Dillon doesn't have to discuss with SB for it to be an issue, you ever heard of 'pillow talk'?
