Brownlow Medal 2013

Remove this Banner Ad

Either Roughead or Hodge to win Hawthorn's Count is good value IMO.
Both can be had for $5+.
Think the hype around Mitchell is un-substantiated.

The reasons I have heard for Mitchell polling well are:
Hawthorn Winning 19 Games
Mitchell having a good polling history.

The one thing I haven't heard is:
Mitchell having a great season....

This is certainly not a pre-requisite for winning the Brownlow.

Think about how an umpire sees the game. At ground level it is very difficult to distinguish players from each other. If I see a bloke I know well (blonde haired Mitchell) getting a few touches and I know he's a good player, I'll give him votes, whether he was the best or not.

That's why polling history is so important. Some players just have a look or game style that gets them noticed on a field with 35 other blokes running around.

Shane Tuck is not one of them :D.

i was told Sportbet would allow it so i made an account and that won't let me either.

any ideas?

hey mate. TAB definitely allows multi's. Been down there for the last 1.5 hours.

Heres my overall count. The collingwood count will be interesting and if pendles/swan poll the 3 instead of the other it could put them over the line.

yeah mate,i got caught like that last year with one bookie,told i could multi,made a deposit,couldnt multi,but then couldnt withdraw my $500 either until i'd turned it over once....dodgy hey...
 
Don't post in here anymore, but a few of you will remember me from back in 09/10 when we cleaned up! since its the day of the brownlow and everyone most likely has their bets on -
I'll be highly surprised if Mitchell doesn't win Hawthorn fwiw I've used him as an anchor in my multis. As for Carlton i haven't touched the market to much although Ive backed Judd into win in a few multis (amazing polling history at $4+ is too good not to include in a couple). As for the overall winner i like Ablett obviously although Pendles is probably the only value left (still $13) who imo has a chance to take it out (Selwood pretty good if you can find $6)

yep 09/10 was a great year and i've been doing it since. left it late this year unfortunately

Sportsbet 100% allows you, its even spammed all over this forum about their brownlow multis, you might have to verify your cc though not sure been years since i made my account, not sure there is to much value anymore since they have smashed the price of anchors in (priddis $1.05 really? was $1.20 a few days ago, Mitchell opened at $1.50 now $1.15 etc)

AjsGuns....i remember you mate,and yeah we all made a killing those 2 years hey..thats when you multi groups and h2h's and team votes all together as long as players or teams didnt clash.....loved walking into my local TAB the next morning and seeing the look on the owners face after my tickets had gone through....spent $450 that year,my 1st ever try at it,and collected $10,551!!!! and all because of the insight of you guys...i have been hooked ever since...

Try using the full website, noticed problems when using Mobile or iPad for multi betting on this
 
i'm on the Sportsbet app and it only has a few team votes (without favz - geelong, suns, bombers etc) and won't even allow me to multi them
looks like the jig is up

Think 09 made Lenny my favorite player in the comp, i remember he was paying something like $7 to top St.Kilda, you toss that into a multi that was paying $5 and it instantly went up to $35. (not to mention guys like Vince who were $4+). They were good times, shame they really hammered down in 11/12 on multis, I know as a student in 2009 i made alot more that night than i did working part time for the year. Shame the bookies started tracking BF and people had to split off since it all started here.

Strange. In the TAB right now and seeing multiple multis going on.

See where it says system 2x1 that's where you should put your stake, not up the top in the single boxes.
 
thats what i've been doing ... i got one through for a $5 multi on 4 most team vote getters
so looks like it does work... not sure what i was doing wrong before
