serious question .. but where has this kool aid thing come from and/or what is the meaning?
I'm a bit slow on the uptake these days

Jones and several members argued that the group should commit "revolutionary suicide" by drinking cyanide-laced grape-flavored Kool aid.

the sad thing is, mr jones strongly suggested his followers drink it, and they did, and quickly died...while mr jones sat on a chair listening to music and didn't take his own kool aid. Someone ended up having to shoot him dead. An analogy? Perhaps.

that is an amazing letter. Hird had no input into the program yet he had a set of rules that it had to follow? Hird wasn't a part of the football department? It is the AFLs fault for Essendon employing Dank? I could go on, but it is just crazy

Guessing Bruce has killed his own matrix idea with that letter pretty clear Hird was directly involved (oops).

Funny how the meeting between Dank, Hird and Charter on the didn't get a run given how detailed Bruce's letter is.

Letter reeks of desperation. Unbelievable really. It is simply that bad and that deluded that he could be committed to the loon bin on this letter alone.

Wow it is bad

Supporting apartheid didn't get him the attention he needs so hey, this Essendon thing will do. :drunk:

Bruceys World would be better compared to Wobbys World than Wallys
Hey! I used to work there....$8 an hour or so when I was at Uni (the owners liked to be called Aunty Barb and Uncle Robin). I have seen the helicopter ride that I used to run in the front yard of a property out in the country. And the tank ride was pretty cool too. A bit run down though. Must have made a mint out of the land when they sold it.

WOW Max,the HTB must be pretty boring in comparison. It's the same ride all day every day here.o_Oo_O

I suggest that we post a list of inaccuracies in Bruces letter that BF members can add too.

The above stuff is a good start.

I would like to add the comment made about ASADA being afraid to summon Dank as a witness as they were too afraid of the evidence he would give. Maybe my memory is completely gone but wasn't there a court case where ASADA tried to force Dank to testify but the judge ruled against it saying they did not have the power to do so?

And yet ... You pop up in this thread.

Fixated with those that have a fixation with Bruce.

Weird
I notice you are clicking like on a long dead thread.

Excellent - I love your style and you must surely be a Melbourne supporter (if yes - welcome to the greatest team ever). If no, consider an unorthodox move - you'll love it.

Had a look through Bruce's latest letter which sadly reads in a similar fashion to a conspiracy theory that might be written by someone with a psychotic illness. If Ley ignores this, I would not be surprised at all if his next correspondence incorporates her and the current government into his delusional system by accusing her of being in cahoots with the AFL and ASADA in their quest to destroy James Hird.

Be as slow as you like.nothing gets resolved on these boards quickly - or ever.

The Kool Aid reference (I won't go into depth, because I can see you already have the info from other posters) is to my mind an especially nasty and lazy way to sledge EFC fans who have been caught up in this mess scenario.

Some of them retaliate by posting nasty and personal messages calling everyone who questions the EFC 2012 behaviour as 'haters' or sheep or whatever.

You can participate and ignore all of that crap and welcome

I'd love the response to this letter to read something along the lines...

Dear Mr Francis,

Thank you for your letter dated March 15, I have forwarded it to the Minister for Arts as comedy falls under that portfolio.

Kind Regards,
