So we really were interested in the ruckmen.

Overlooked a couple of mids and medium and small forwards.

From that article posted above:

According to The West Australian, Port Adelaide are favourites to recruit Teakle in today’s mid-season draft.

It is understood the Power have put the 22-year-old through several tests in recent weeks and are considering giving him a chance, with the club currently holding pick eight.

Hawthorn, who holds pick six, and Adelaide (pick four) have also shown interest.

Moves ridiculously well for a man his size.
Just watching the vision, it's hard to believe he isn't in the AFL system already. If he's truly 203cm, which puts him taller than Ladhams (just), that's some insanely good agility and pace. Certainly I am not against this selection unlike the pointless McEntee selection.

However there must be a red flag or a reason he has still been playing WAFL?

My highest priority would have been a key defender. But a fwd/ruck is alright. Glad it's not another flanker.
A left field idea I would have, is to take a look at him over the next 6 months as a ruck, then if he is truly as mobile and skilful with ball in hand as he looks, why not trial him as a key back/ruck over preseason for something different. Skinner has the mobility and height of a 1990's SANFL ruck. Teakle appears to have a heck of a lot more agility with a heck of lot more height.

With this pick, we'll probably see Lord stick to CHF now instead of giving a chop out in the ruck sometimes.

I've yet to see anything meaningful from Visentini when moved out of the ruck. If Teakle is given significant ruck minutes, Visentini would need to show something up forward.
