For now I'd just develop him in the ruck.
Dante is a pure ruck. If he makes it it will be as a first ruck.

I’m really hoping that we continue to play Dante as the first ruck in the magpies and teakle plays forward / ruck, which should still see teaks with plenty of ruck time.

Dante really only has one thing going for him. He competes super hard in the ruck, and for a ruck that can carry you a long way. At this time I don’t really see any other positions as really viable for Dante, which is fine. I’m just stoked that he’s producing what he is in the ruck

It's a tough gig for a young ruck in the sanfl. I've seen us bring in some skinny young rucks over the years and seen them monstered by older, physically stronger sanfl rucks. For Visentini to be so competitive as a teenage ruckman in a mature age competition is impressive.

Teakle will provide great support and assist Dante's development, while pushing his own case for senior selection.

looking at his highlights his vertical leap looks concerning, I'm not sure how competitive he will be against AFL rucks despite his size.

He looks better as a KPP from those highlights.

Has anyone seen him play live?
Yeah definitely hard to gauge that. He could be tired in a clip just having sprinted 100m, could be off balance when jumping. There's enough there to show he can jump alright. I'm still firmly of the opinion I would try him as a key back and ruck based on the athletic ability we can see in those videos. If he succeeded there it'd be a massive boost having a 200+cm key back.

Whats Visentini like around the ground, engine and over head marking?

Hayes to me still lacks both of those qualities.

For the magpies he’s shown little to next to nothing in those areas

Having said that he’s a 19yr old playing first ruck in our sanfl team. There’s time to develop that or possibly he already has those things to some degree but he’s so gassed from rucking at this stage he’s not really showing them.

But he’s highly competitive in the ruck contest, and I love that. Especially at his age / size it’s remarkable.

He might of been a late starter as well because he played other sports Water polo and Volleyball I believe it was .
From the PAFC website;

A talented junior athlete, Teakle played basketball and waterpolo and was good at rowing, swimming, cross country running and athletics before narrowing his focus to football.

Still learning, he's just a kid in ruck terms.

Per game he's averaging 9.5 disposals, 2.5 marks, 4.2 tackles, 22 hitouts (that includes a 6ho game v Adelaide in his first game where he may not have rucked much).

For a teenage ruckman in the sanfl, he's doing alright. Well ahead of the curve of other ruckmen I've seen Port bring in.

The only slightly relevant thing I could find is that he didn't make the top 5 for vertical leap off of either foot at the WA combine

He's better than Wylie Buzza
