I loved how Darcy said the Seattle Seahawks call their crowd the '19th man'.
Clueless.
Clueless.

Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later. Some approximate that the number of stars in the observable universe is 30 billion trillion, others say the universe is infinite, with an infinite amount of stars.
By the end of Luke Darcy's broadcasting career, I dare say that the number of players or other personalities he has labelled 'stars' or 'absolute stars' will also be at such incalculable levels.
Yeah, usually dud ex players get the can quick smart. But then again Ricciuto when he first commentated was hopeless, but he's obviously worked hard and has grown into his new role quite well, he's actually quite a funny bloke and contributes meaningfully to the broadcast. Darcy however doesn't seem to see the need to actually improve his abilities and still gets top roles handed to him, can't stand the bloke.Players get gigs on TV and if they are no good, they get weeded out eventually. David Schwarz an example of this on Channel 7. But somehow Darcy has managed to make his way to be a leading host and commentator with pretty much little skill, poor analysis of the game and boring style of commentary.
Combine him with BT and Saturday night's have become as much about those 2 as the actual game. It is pretty frustrating when you just want to watch the footy.
Ha. After being asked who was his least favourite commentator, Mitch Robinson gave BT a whack for calling cauliflower ears all the time.
Then he goes: "I can't stand him".
I believe that 'he's just an out and out star and I just love the way he goes about it' were the words forced into Luke's vocabulary when he was an infant. Some approximate that the number of stars in the observable universe is 30 billion trillion, others say the universe is infinite, with an infinite amount of stars.

If any of us had the stamina needed, we should re-watch Saturday night's game and actually go through and detail how much time was spent on:
Plus, how many times players were called by first names or nick names.
- Jokes
- Non-Footy related banter
- Errors
Would be a hell of a thing to do.
Wtf is it with BT with "Simpson says get out of my way Stevie j" or the like pretending to know what some player says
