Serious question, who are you going to support when Cousins is no longer playing?
Another question, did you ever have a WCE membership and if so, do you still have one?

I would also like to take this opportunity to point out that although I am from Perth and have a Jan 2009 join date, I did not jump on any bandwagon. When I was about 10 yrs old, it was just after Freo's first year so everyone in Perth was making the decision to get behind them or to stick with the Eagles (and hate the dockers). I can remember my parents asking me who I wanted to go for and for some reason I just really liked the Tigers. I'll admit I was only 10 so it was probably only for the yellow & black strip & club song at that stage.

The reason I mention it is because now 13 years later, even through all the bad times the club has gone through, I couldn't imagine wanting to support one of the other clubs. If you were truly a west coast supporter, but a fan of Ben Cousins, it wouldn't be a big enough reason to switch clubs simply because Ben will only be playing for another few years maximum. I can only assume you have decided to support Richmond for as long as Ben plays, and then return to West Coast.

I met some rough-c*** knob at the pub who said he barracked for Richmond. After further questioning, turns out he is just a Richmond supporter while Ben is there, and then he is going back to West Coast.

With regards to the "Richmond Bandwagon" in WA, I would also think some of these memberships are partly existing supporters without memberships who were expecting us to be a real force this year. Remember, Richmond hadn't won a game over here since Round 10, 2001. Now we have had 3 wins in a row, including a 10 goal win, a 13 goal win and an inspiring victory! If West Coast were at the top of the ladder, nobody would be jumping on the Richmond bangwagon.

Will you stay on board when Cousins retires, or is banished for further drug use, or is poached by Carlton after having a stellar finish to the season? You could always develop a mancrush for a deledio or cotchin type? ;)

Sorry for my rambling, lastly that celtic_pride would have to be the worst Bigfooty poster out of everyone, seriously wtf. Turncoat

Touching story about your childhood... there ..I think your the turncoat dude..nothing you have said suggests otherwise.

Have a membership- buy the merchandise blah ****ing blah..

great game you have going here..Who s the biggest Tiger fan ?? ..ffs grow up!!

Can't imagine why on earth anyone would want to make up that

Richmond have caused me all sorts of heartache over the last few years while West Coast won a bloody flag!

I wasn't having a go at you in any way - it was an honest question because i was interested, but if you aren't even going to bother answering my questions then you are as bad as celtic_pride and might as well go support Judd on the Carlton board.

I wasn't a turncoat when i was 10... I had no real connection to any club at that age.

Bucks is not interested in coaching Richmond.

He is playing his cards close to his chest to hold a little leverage with Collingwood as they work out what they will do about Malthouse.

Sad to say it is what Sheedy did each time another Essendon contract was due, he got us all excited (even Tommy Hafey) then would sign again for Essendon.

Whether Collingwood sign Malthouse or not Buckley will never coach Richmond.

Unless he does take a job with us as an assistant. Then who knows.

The ideal scenario for Richmond is to secure Leigh Matthews as caretaker with Buckley or Hird and as an assistant.

He works under Sheeds or Lethal for a year or two, gets a taste for the club and the players and when the old dog steps aside he's invested and wants to see the job through.

Unless Collingwood offers him its top job first.

For that reason our club will never die. What the **** kind of kid what would to barrack for a team called the Swans, Dockers or Saints when you can barrack for the Tigers?

I seem to remember at the end of TW's resignation press conference it was mentioned that Sheeds wasn't being considered and that looking forward we would be going with someone young, despite being sprightly (MM at least) I think this rules out both MM and Lethal. That leaves the likes of Campbell, Bucks, Hardwick etc.

Campbell has strong raps from Eade but I've never heard him speak about his philosophy and am also wondering whether he is from an era we really want to bring back. I don't really know much about Hardwick and a dissertation on all the others in the Bucks thread seems pointless. It looks at the moment to be a 50-50 game as to whether Collingwood and MM will part ways, Mcguire and MM have a great relationship and I personally reckon MM has what it takes given another couple of years, should MM stay, I really don't see why we would not be a genuine chance for Bucks. He was born in Adelaide sure making Port seem attractive but think, he always wanted to play in Melbourne (which is what initially caused the drafting controversy when he began playing) and he has been settled in here with a family for so many years now it would be reasonable to say a move would not be wanted. Whilst Richmond provides a challenge, should we offer the proper incentive I don't see why he wouldn't come, we won't however, pick him up in an assistant role if, as I'm pretty sure RFC has stated, we pick someone young (Hird, Hardwick etc.). His articles in the paper are great and he's already demonstrated he knows what needs to be done at RFC (clear list cloggers etc), supporters have been hoping for 28 years, why not fend off the pessimism a little longer. :D
