Bucks & Willi - A mistake?

Can't help but feel this could be a big mistake, I would be shattered if the great man went down this week in the 2's and had to call it a day. If it is going to happen, even if it's 5 minutes into the first quarter, he deserves for it to be on the big stage, in the black and white, and get the send off the man deserves.

It would be good to see Buckley back in the Black and white on friday night, but i think they are doing the right thing by bringing him back through the reserves to give him some match fitness. After all as Jerry Springer said he hasnt played for 12 months.

I agree with the thread. Bucks playing for Willy is a bad move.
We cannot afford to carry players... FFS its Nathan Buckley, no body is carrying this man any where. The way he trains is 10 times better than anyone else and other players come straight in.

Not only will he not be carried he would carry players himself, not to mention lift 21 other blokes to another level by him just being there.

I agree. It doesn't make sense. If he is ready, then bring him straight through to the AFL. We will not be carrying ANYONE. Im pretty sure that the influence he can have, even being on the boundary line and during the qtr breaks is enough to lift others around him!

I honestly believe he CAN BE the difference between us getting the 4 points or not on Fri night if he does/doesnt play.

I think if bucks wanted to go str8 to afl he would, he likes to come back via the vfl obviously he feels when his right to play his right to play and treat it asif he'll be playing for the rest ofthe year, rather then as a oh if i do an injury i want it to be on the big stage trust the selectors and bucks to make the right choice for him and the team
