Howdy all .
Just got back from a few weeks in LA .
Was pretty cool . Wore my Allen shirt to Disney and Universal on a few days.
Was amazing how many people I met from Buffalo or were just Bills fans. Around 20 over a few days
My wife got sick of it
One fella had a lot of contacts . He chatted with me for about 10 minutes and was pretty excited to hear the Bills have a following down here.
He is bullish ahead of this season . Reckons we will see a different offensive set up .
Said Josh was playing through the last half pretty injured . Now back fully fit.
No issues with Diggs either everyone is ready to roll .

Well that was horrible . Hopefully its a rusty game 1 performance like a lot of other sides rather than the norm .

I know the stats don't necessarily corroborate it, but I feel it's the same old problem at the end of the day: Can't consistently defend the rush AND can't consistently rush the ball.

Yep . You dont want to go too far back but you add in pre season , last two play off games and even large chunks of last season the formline is patchy at best .
Lots of close losses but very close escapes too .
Cant recall us really dominating a good opponant for a while .
Today followed that trend to be honest.
Knowing the result saved my dinner being thrown off the table followed by a profanity laden tantrum.
In spite of all this I thought the defence was solid and Cook looked good. We know (hope) Josh will turn this around. Onto Las Vegas.

Your not winning games when your QB has 3 ints and a fumble . Josh had a shocker .
I reckon he will shoot the lights out next week
You're allowed a shocker. Much better in week 1 of the season. 16 more chances. He's too good to keep at it like that and there aren't many defences as good as NYJ.

Yep you dont want to react on one loss especially in round 1 . Im expecting and confident of a strong performance next week .

Brilliant brilliant comeback game.
The D will be undersold, rightly so given the focus on the O, but cannot ignore how good they are yet again. Going to be an absolute force again this year. The solid play, the big plays (Milano!!!!), the bend not break, just fantastic.
But this was a truly great complete win. Balanced performance. Near perfect QB play.
incorporating the multiple TE sets well
Involving the new RBs.

You dont lose your ability or talent in one game . Everything I heard from him and the team pointed to a good performance .
We will play better teams but it was a strong bounce back that should be expected tbh .

Agree, but I don't think they have even scratched the surface playing 12 personnel.
I am curious to see how we look when:
- Kincaid gets more involved
- Cook on offence and Bernard on defence both gain in experience
- Von returns
Both Washington and Miami will be big tests.
