We need to wait a couple of weeks till the trade period is over.

As for our youth, well besides guys like Savage, Smith, Breust, Gunston, Rioli, Suckling,Puopolo, Stratton, Shiels, Whitecross, et al

ROFL, you know you're struggling when you add et al. What number's he? Bolded are either fringe meiocriy, or outright hacks.

No way will Smith see 100 games, if he does it's an indictment on your club. Imagine wasting a first rounder on a one sided pacey soft runner who can't kick :)

Don't even start on Puopolo, lol.

, there's:

Bradley Hill - a rich man's Steven Motlop. Very raw at the moment, and currently holds the draft combine record for the beeptest - ran a 16.1 or something astounding like that. Likely to be better or similar to Lewis Jetta.

Alex Woodward & Tom Schneider - next Sammy Mitchell & Brad Sewell. YouTube some of their work if you don't believe me.

I could go on, but I don't think I need to.

Bahahaha, no you couldn't. You've got no idea.

Must be tough days for some of these Dawk fans. So pissed about losing the unloseable that they have come down to Bigfooty to play their next favourite game. Sniping anything to do with the Cats. Everytime I read the tripe that flows from Shepp, Hodgepodge, Bosk and several others who need to get a life, I know it is going to be some negativity towards the cats.
Time will tell how good any trade will be and I would far prefer to part with a first round pick for a young inside, goal kicking midfielder than for a 30 something backman who was an all Australian who also only 2 years ago had the year from hell. Caddy had a bad run with injuries at the start of his days with the suns but is all clear now so a preseason at Geelong and will see what he has. I honestly believe Ablett made the worst mistake of his life going to the suns. Who knows what it will end up costing him. So far it has definately cost him a flag, a possible Brownlow and his relationship. Was 10 million worth it. When he retires, his name on the gold coast will mean little to what it would have been worth in Geelong. Also, he will not win a flag with the orange turd burglars before his career is up. They are still at least 5 years away. And I doubt even with Ablett that the cats would have been able to keep winning while they are in the rebuilding stage. Meanwhile, Smedts and Caddy hopefully will be part of our next push for glory.

Les....you're better than this.

Just plain woefully inaccurate. What was the point?
LLD, the point I made was tremendous, as all mine are.

Seriously though, I completely ****ed up (which is quite unusual for me).
When I posted that yesterday, I had Josh Toy on my mind, who could hardly get a game.

I also feel bad now with the news that Toy has a congenital heart condition that has affected his ability to run out games and get on the park.

I ****ed up.

That explains it, thought something must've been up.

Cats get the last laugh? What planet are you living on Turncoat!
Gold Coast bent GeeLOL over and robbed them of the best player in the AFL, who had he still been a Scat would have probably been the difference between them crashing out of this year's finals against the 'purple ****s' and actually being good enough to face the Hawks in the prelim.

As for Caddy, I'm surprised the Handbaggers would even bother wasting their Scablett compo pick on him when they could've held onto it for another year. By the time Caddy's in his prime GeeLOL will be firmly entrenched in the bottom four (perhaps even sooner) and the kid will be playing a lone hand in their midfield, much like Ducker Selwood is at the moment.

Oh well, anything to give that pitiful town of Geelong something to cheer is a good thing I guess. It might even keep the locals from complaining about Centerlink and the price of Winnie Blues for a day or so, surely a good thing!
What are the Mayblooms going to do in 2 years time when Buddy is broken down, Mitchell Hodge Sewell Burgoyne Lake Hale Lewis have all retired and the Cats winning streak against them has blown out to 13?

Well the Cats finally get the last laugh on Cold Toast landing Josh Caddy for their Scablett compensation pick.

Cold Toast must have a gambling problem as they have to activate the pick within the next two years and it's tied to the Cats finishing position. Lulz, won't get better than pick 15/16 :thumbsu:

On the downside, some half reasonable kid that will go at 15/16 in the next 2 years will have to play for the tangerine turd burglars for a couple of years.
Bitter much
